After Market Orders
You can place After Market Orders (AMO) outside regular trading hours, and they execute once the market opens. When you place orders outside market hours, they automatically convert to AMO orders.
You can use AMOs for all product types including CNC, MIS and MTF.
AMO timings
You can place, modify, or cancel AMOs only during these times:

The AMOs are sent to the exchange at the following times:

Equity - IOC validity, Disclosed quantity (less than 100% of sell quantity), Stop loss (SL), Stop loss - Market (SL-M) | 09:16 AM |
F&O | 09:16 AM |
MCX | 09: 01 AM |
Things to keep in mind
- When you initiate orders outside market hours and AMO time, the system rejects the order
- You cannot place AMOs for stocks under periodic call auction. and ETF
