Steps to Open an Account

1. Place an Account Open Request: You can start by reaching out to us in the following ways:

  • Submit your details on our website here
  • Email us at nriaccount@navia.co.in
  • WhatsApp us on the number mentioned under the NRI section in our Contact us page here.

2. Speak to our NRI Onboarding Executive: Our dedicated executive will guide you through the process.

3. Share the Required Documents: Provide the necessary documents via secured link which will be shared by your onboarding RM or via email or via WhatsApp for verification.

4. Receive a Pre-Filled Form: Our Executive will email you a pre-filled account opening form.

5. Download and Verify: Review the form for accuracy.

6. Sign the Form: You can sign the form manually

7.Checklist of documents to be submitted

  • Account Opening Form: This needs to be duly signed by all holders of account
  • PAN Card: Permanent Account Number issued by the Indian Income Tax Department. If this is not available, we assist with the help of an agent to obtain a PAN number 
  • Passport/OCI/PIO: Passport, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) card.
  • Visa/Residence Permit: Proof of current visa or residence permit status.
  • Proof of Foreign Address: Any of the following:
  • Latest bank account statement
  • Passport with address
  • Driver's license
  • Utility bill
  • Additional for NRO Accounts: Cancelled Cheque Leaf/Latest NRO Bank Statement
  • Additional for NRE Accounts: PIS & NRE Savings Bank Application Form: Assist with Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, or IDFC First
